Increased storage space

The previous storage increased from 90 to now 500 shelf meters. In one of the new high-density mobile shelving systems, sterile goods, grids, tools, spare parts are stored for the surgeries. In the second, sterile disposable material is stored for the entire department. The system consists of perforated shelves due to the sprinkler system, pull-out shelves on guides, different sizes of drawers with guides, integrated lighting and electronic control.

Ergonomically justified

The requirements that were set, were 50 cm free height to the ceiling with LED lighting. Something that distinguishes this system is that the cable conduit are not located above the system but at the rear edge. There are extendable shelves for ergonomic reasons when lifting material for their trolleys that should also fit in the aisles. The system also has a long ramp to pull carriages into the system in a better way.

i'd like advice

When we chose to invest in a high-density mobile shelving system, we saved SEK 200.000 per year in only premises rent, and a lot of time was saved when we could have everything on one floor, instead of both in the basement and at the surgery department.
